Window Mirrors: How to Make your apartment look like you have more windows

Window mirrors give your apartment the appearance of having more windows, and, at the same time, make your apartment brighter. If you live in an apartment in the city, you would know how important and valuable windows are. They bring natural light and brightness to a room. In the city, the windows in the old buildings are usually small. Sometimes, these windows even face another building so the light is blocked. What’s worse is that you don’t even have views of the trees.

To remedy this, I like to use mirror. But not just any mirror. I like to use mirrors that look like windows. I call them window mirrors or ventanitas. These mirrors look like windows. Because they are mirrors, they can reflect light, either from the sun or from your light bulbs, making the room brighter. If you face them right in front of a window, it will even reflect the outside, making your room appear bigger. I use the mirror windows by my buffet sideboard in my dining area.

Mirror windows are one of my favorite accessories in decorating a room. They come in all shapes and sizes. They can be square shaped, but I prefer the unique-shaped ones. So, if you’re looking to change up the decoration of your room, give these mirrored windows a try.

I love these classic mirror windows in a square shape. They come in both black and wood finish.

I’m a budget mom, so I like to keep things on the affordable side. I don’t want to spend too much on things, so a mirror window between $20 to $100 is good. If I find a mirror window I like but it’s in the wrong color and I can’t find anything else, I’ll buy it and just spray paint it a different color.

Remember that the only thing you can’t change is the measurement, so always measure your space and make sure the thing you are buying will fit that space. Don’t just measure once, measure twice. Enjoy decorating with your window mirrors!
