Lego Duplo is a virtually indestructible toy that will inspire creativity and experimentation for your children. I previously talked about the magnetic tiles that my older almost 4-year old son loves. My almost 2-year old son still isn’t adept at creating blocks out of the magnetic tiles though. I first bought a second-hand Lego Duplo numbers train set when my first son was still young. I bought the Lego Duplo set second hand because someone was selling it in one of my Facebook groups and I wanted to see whether my son would like it. When I bought it, he was still tiny and didn’t like playing with it. But when he grew older, he started playing with it almost every day.

So, just this Christmas, I decided to increase his collection by buying two more Lego Duplo sets . I bought these two from Amazon and it was definitely a win. One is a collection of cars, while the other one is for houses.

Both my children play with the Lego Duplo set everyday. The other set comes with a storage box, so I am able to store all the Lego Duplos in one box. Everyday, my older son would turn the box over and start making different cars. He would build a fire truck, a police car, a garbage truck, and the list goes on. My younger son will play with it, as well, but he just connects the Lego Duplos together. He’s still not at the stage (like my older son) of mixing the Legos to build something.

Lego Duplo is also virtually indestructible (unless your dog chews it). I’ve bought so many toys where my son would throw them, and after one day, they would lose a wheel, a door, or something. The Lego Duplo set is a little bit expensive, but it will last forever. It is definitely worth every penny.
